What to Consider When Buying a Wallet

For me, wallets are not accessories that we used to carry instead it's a necessity that we need in our everyday life. We need something like wallets to store our personal belongings like the identification card, bank cards, money, etc. Wallets are usually made of leather, fabrics, and plastics. It is normally a pocket size and foldable for our convenience.

Just a little background about wallets, it has been used since the 14th century as a description for bag or knapsack who carries items. Wallets come in many different shapes, design, styles, and colors.

It is designed to keep personal items to be safe and secure while providing easy access into the different compartments. Some of the modern wallets have advanced features like zippered section, transparent windows, picture holder and more.

The most popular material being used in making wallets is leather. The most common type of wallet is the bi-fold which is also known as mid-size wallet like my St. Scott London Jenny Mid-sized wallet. There are actually more types of wallet aside from bi-fold such as breast wallet, front pocket wallet, long wallet, travel wallet, tri-fold wallet, and wallet band.

My St. Scott London Jenny Mid-sized wallet is made of leather. I love its color, the Iceland blue and it has a two bill slots, three hidden card slots, 6 six card slots, one ID slot, four open pockets, one coin pocket, one open pocket in the back and card wallet with two slots. Very functional right?

For a more durable and reliable wallet, I suggest that you buy a leather type of wallet. Choose the one with a high quality for long lasting use. It may be expensive, but you can consider it as an investment because it can serve you better other than any type of wallets.

When buying a wallet, you should consider the size that you need. It is actually a personal choice because wallet comes in different sizes. Think about how many items you are putting inside it to know if the wallet is appropriate for you.
