When I was young, I used watch TV series. The first time I saw the thing called Choker was during the Beverly Hills, 90210. It was wearing of one of the Stars in the series named Shannen Doherty. I even saw it wearing by Princess Dianna while recently spotted with Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Rihanna.
It seems like these girls loves the idea of having something fitted on their neck. There are also some forms like tattoo chokers, metal chokers, and with dainty little flowers. There’s a lot of variety to choose if you happen to liking to have one.
Different design, different forms as well as different styles. So why is it called choker? It’s called Chokers because it basically sits at the base of a woman's throat. Way back then, Native Americans wore them to protect their necks and their spirits, and it is also symbolize rank.
And you know what? It was even featured in Ralp Lauren Fall 2012 Runaway Show.
There are lots of celebrities who finds it stylish and trendy that is why they choose this necklace over the dainty, sometimes it was layered jewelry and sometimes more elaborative. Having that said, this super short necklace has the rules for wearing it. It not just something that you have on your youth but can also wear up to this day.
This time I’m trying out Mini Pendant Choker, this is actually my first time to have it around my neck and it look crazy beautiful, no wonder why a lot of Hollywood celebrities are going gaga over it. It was suitable to anything that you will wear from formal to ragged one. I started to love it because of its versatility. I can wear it with my long sleeves and even win my white shirt or sweater and jeans. Imagine, you will no longer have to think what would you add to your outfit as your accessories. The Mini Pendant Choker I have is color black faux leather and has a small metal rectangular cube pendant with color red on side. It’s width is 0.2 cm with 37 cm circumference. Remember the size may differ by 1 to 2 cm depending on measurement methods and oh, it's another Stylenanda product.
