Create A Great Outfit With Ankle Boots

It was kinda late for me to go through a booties trend. I don’t know, I just don’t feel like wearing it. I was saying before I am more on flats -- ballet, sandals, etc. I also felt like ankle boots made women’s feet look wide, like cutting off the legs above the ankle. However, the world that I am with right now. I know, I need to address ankle boots properly to pair with other dresses. Some people look so fabulous in it. I know, I see it.

Check out the boots I have here, the Hole Punched Ankle Boots. It gives an attitude to my outfit. Very comfy and trendy, they have round tips, ankle cut and has a limited side stretch for easy to wear. It also has a punched hole accent which I usually wear with shirt and blouses. Sometimes, I wear it with shorts and sweaters.

I remember one of my client who is smaller than me wanted to wear an ankle boots with her midi’s. I was like, oh-uh! I can let her do that though. One time, I met a girl who wear knee boots but looks like it doesn’t fit to her.  So, to let people know and be guided properly. I will share you some secrets on how to spot a perfect  looks with ankle boots for you.

First, you have to scale them. Choosing the right scale of booties for your legs, is important to avoid showing your size. A stiletto heels will help your legs look fuller or if you have weak legs and ankles the choose the platform ankle boots.

Second, matching the colors of your boots with the color of your bottoms. If your boots is black pair it with black skinny jeans. Do not mix colors who are contrasting to avoid visually cut your legs in half.

Third, avoid using boots who has a lots of buckles or straps, it can make your legs look heavy unless your height is 5’9 or 5’10. Try those who are with visible zipper for a slimming effects.

Fourth, keep this rule in mind. “The taller the boot shaft, the shorter your shirt should be.” This is also applies to shorts and dresses.

Fifth, dress to your body shape. Knowing your body size will make easier for you to find what to wear.
